Mariel had to make a schedule to accommodate myself and 10 others. From the second Mariel and her two girls arrived (perfectly on time), they were ready to work, stayed on schedule, and also were just super enjoyable to be around. Nothing felt uptight or forced. I let my girls choose ANY hairstyle and makeup style and they accommodated each and every one. I have some picky girls, everyone was happy, and everyone still looked good several hours later. I was beyond happy with my hair and makeup, and it photographed better than I ever imagined. Logistically, having one vendor for both hair and makeup made everything from communication/coordination to payment/tipping easier. After finding The Bridal Artistry Co. on Instagram and admiring Mariel’s work, I was thrilled to learn that she still had my date open, and also had extensive experience working with brides’ natural hair textures. As soon as I arrived for my trial, I knew I was in the hands of an incredibly talented artist and a true professional! She listened to my ideas, preferences, and concerns during the consultation, and worked with my natural curls and headpiece to create the most gorgeous updo - I remember gasping and saying “I never could have imagined my curls looking like this!” I absolutely loved my natural yet glam makeup as well! Mariel is very organized, providing clear instructions for the bride and bridal party in advance, as well as a detailed schedule of all services for the day of. She easily accommodated my large group of bridesmaids, traveled to my venue, and along with Tressa, ensured hair and makeup services were completed smoothly and in more than enough time. She covered all of the little details, like making sure that my mom and sister knew how to take my veil in and out of my updo. “Mariel was truly an expert. She took the time to give me a detailed walk through of how to prepare, what extensions to get, hair pieces, and a variety of looks. On the day-of, we had a number of last minute change-ups - I forgot to pre-wash my extensions and ended up deciding on my hair style that day, plus my sister's girlfriend ended up getting her hair done. She and her team were incredibly flexible and put me at-ease. They were also so nice about last minute touch ups and changes. My hair stayed and makeup stayed perfectly the entire night. Definitely recommend Mariel and her team - you can rest assured you will be in great hands!”

"Having Mariel beautify me on my wedding day was the best decision I could have made! She is extremely talented and used her high quality products to make me feel beautiful and still was able to give me a natural look with make up and the soft, elegant hair style that I wanted. Besides her talent, her extremely organized and calm manner was what gave me the most confidence in her work. From our first conversation about how to make the morning work she was on top of knowing exactly what she would be doing and how she would do it down to the minute. I am usually an organized person but felt pretty scatter-brained as my wedding day got closer. Mariel's easy going personality and encouragement that everything would work out fine (and it did!) really kept me at ease on a day that could easily be so hectic. Mariel was also very accommodating when I requested a trial. I am not in her area and she was sure to meet me in a convenient central location to provide me with the trial I wanted.
